Steam Pressure Reducing Valves
Steam should be used at lowest possible
pressure. ''Spirax'' Pressure Reducing Valves
(PRV) can be installed with required other
accessories at places where complete station
cannot fit. Depending upon the steam flowrate,
inlet pressure and desired outlet pressure, PRV
can be selected and sized.
Pressure and
temperature control can be achieved
simulateneoulsy by installing ''Spirax'' DP 17 T
model with proper sizing of the product for
process parameters.

Metering
Meter
every unit of steam, generated or distributed.
After generating the steam is distributed to
various sections from the main steam pipe/heater.
But it is necessary to know the exact steam
consumption in the individual departments within
the production plant or in the individual
production lines.
Any indicated increase in steam
consumption above the accepted norm for a given
production rate will indicate some inefficiency
developing in that section of steam using
production plant, which can be investigated and
remedied. The other perhaps obvious reason for the
monitoring of steam consumption is the ability to
operate accurate cost accounting for a specific
product line. The steam flow meter Accuflo is the
perfect tool for providing exact information about
the steam consumption and steam quality. |
PRDS Stations
We are your
single source for stations complete with piping
and instrumentation. Our stations are supplied
complete and ready to fit on your piping. We have
a station to suit every need.
Our Combined
Pressure Reducing Desuperheating valve uses a
revolutionary single piece design to eliminate all
the constraints associated with two piece systems,
for example: poor and inefficient mixing of
cooling water, waterhammer, and wet steam. By
injecting cooling water in the highly turbulent
vena contracta immediately after pressure
reduction, the combined PRDS design ensures
perfect mixing, evaporation & desuperheating.
Every PRDS is custom engineered to suit your exact
pressure and temperature requirements.
Both
steam pressure reduction & temperature
reduction Desuperheating) are done in a single
valve making it an extremely efficient, cost
effective and compact solution.Compact design High
rangeability 40:1. Reduced noise level. Efficient
cooling water atomization. Reduced straight runs
for pressure & temperature measurements.
Better control over change in
flow. |
